PAYE Online Filing Guide | ||
The Inland Revenue are bribing small employers to the tune of £825 over
the next five years to use their PAYE online filing system.
See here for the details. Some accountants may not offer the service others may only announce their charges when they issue the company year end forms for signing leaving their clients very little time to complete the process themselves as the Inland Revenue website is a prime example of poor design and difficult navigation. The first stage in the process is to register your company for online filing. The
irony of this whole business is that it is quite possible you will need to do this
even if your accountant charges for online filing as you have to supply their agent reference.
As this can also be done by post using form
FBI2
maybe you wouldn't. If you care to take a look at this form you will see
that gathering the details needed for registration of your company by the accountant is hardly
an arduous process as they can be copied directly from your file. Don't be put off by the length of this guide - the whole process should take less than 30 minutes - once you have got into the system it is fairly intuitive - you probably only need our guide if you get stuck. We recommend that you register immediately. © Copyright 4Contractors.co.uk. 2004 |
