The 12th Annual South Texas 4-H Shoot Out
I want to thank all of those that came and participated last year in our 11th Annual South Texas 4-H Shoot Out. We look forward to having you back again this year. The format will remain the same.
It will be held on April 9th & 10th, 2022, at the Keystone Ranch in Pearsall, Texas.

The location will be the same as last year with new and challenging presentations.
We will have TWO Whiz-Bang Qualifiers for the kids this year. One on Saturday and another on Sunday.
Saturday and Sunday scores are independent and do not carry over. Sunday scores are NOT included in HOA.
NEW THIS YEAR, each qualifying shooter will have the opportunity to compete in a Scholarship Shoot-off on Sunday.
The top ten shooters from the Saturday and Sunday Whizbang events COMBINED will return Sunday afternoon to shoot-off for scholarships in each 4-H age class.

The format is a little different than most 4-H events. It is intended to be a Fun Family Shoot and was patterned after our successful Youth/Adult Team event at the Big Blast.
There will be 2 Whiz-Bang Qualifiers for the 4-H kids and there will be a Whiz-Bang field for the adults and non-4H youth as well.
The main event will be a Youth/Adult Team shoot consisting of 300 targets. Youth will shoot 100 Sporting Clays on a 12 station course and a 50 bird Whiz-Bang on Morgan's setup.
Adults will shoot 100 Sporting Clays with their Youth partner and a separate 50 bird Whiz-Bang course to complete the 300 bird team score.

Besides the team event, we will also have individual awards for 4-H shooters and an open division.
