TRANSPORT WINGS Short DC-8 Base Kit
A 1:72 base kit of the original short-fuselage Douglas DC-8.
The original aircraft were produced as series 20, 30, 40 OR 50 aircraft,
with the only differences being the engines used, their range and payload.
This base kit comes with vacform JT3D engines for a series 50 aircraft.
The base kit contains:
- Precut polystyrene vacform parts for the fuselage, keel, wings, nacelles and stabilizers
- Resin engine intakes
- Cast metal landing gear
- Silkscreen printed window decals.
Resin engine conversion sets for P&W JT3, Rolls Royce Conway and P&W JT3D engines will be added to this page as they become available.
