Moose Hunting... MITCHELL'S POND HUNT This hunt is located in Management Area 8, a convenient one hour drive from the Newfoundland ferry terminal at Port aux Basques and only a one half hour drive from the Stephenville Airport. The area has an abundant population of moose and receives very little hunting pressure. The success rate here is always close to 100%. Hunting offers excellent opportunities for bow, blackpowder and rifle hunters. A professional taxidermist is on staff and trophies can be preserved for shipment or handled any way the client wishes. The main lodge is accessible by truck and can take six hunters. This outfit excels in moose hunts and nobody does it better! New areas are also being scouted for this hunt.

The package includes: guide, transportation (truck & ATV), airport pick-up, meals, lodging, license and all taxes.
