Casey and I had the great privilege of being a part of Michele & Dave’s wedding a few weeks ago and I have SO enjoyed looking back thru their images over and over again in search of (what like 70?) favorites to share….either I am having serious issues with editing or I’m just in LOVE with every photo that we shot that day! Let’s begin at the beginning…shall we? Michele and Dave were referred to us by Scarlett & Kevin (the beautifully spirited couple that you will see in a few shots below ; ) We instantly fell in love with Michele & Dave – what’s not to love? They are free spirits who honestly and wholeheartedly LOVE one another. They are so sweet with one another – when they saw each other for the first time I think I cried a little….and I am not ashamed to say that I think I may have cried a few more times thru the day during some really special moments ; ) I love this career! They joined lives surrounded by dear friends and family (not to mention some of the most incredible dancers I’ve ever seen!) at Stone Manor up in the hills of Malibu, CA. Simply a dream come true. Stone Manor’s sprawling grounds and breathtaking views were the perfect backdrop for Michele & Dave’s wedding. Now, I have to take a moment to give some serious props to my new friend, the incredibly talented Megan of La Partie Events – I think you’ll agree that her gorgeous vintage inspired floral stylings translated beautifully into the space. Love the details & each table arrangement was created from a unique pairing of vintage glassware and a lovely mix of yellow & white flowers. So sweet! To Michele & Dave: Cheers to a beautiful life together! You deserve all the best and I know that you’ll be very happy! It was a joy to be a part of your journey!!! See you soon! xo, A
