Acquisition Advisors, formed in 1997, consults on the purchase, sale, and valuation of mid-size U.S. companies.

Most of our work is with profitable companies earning $1 million to $10 million annually.  More specifically, we

help owners of profitable U.S. companies sell quietly, and professionally, for the absolute maximum. We also help proven

business managers become owners, and people and companies establish and execute business acquisition plans,

identify candidates, and complete purchases. We know you have a lot on your mind, and have questions.

David L. Perkins, Jr. 

Mr. Perkins is an expert on the purchase, sale, and valuation of small and mid-size U.S. companies. He has extensive education, training, and experience on these subjects; has consulted on hundreds of transactions across almost every industry; and is an experienced and successful business owner and investor for his account. Perkins holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree (Accounting Concentration) from the University of Notre Dame, and an Executive Education Certificate in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) from The Wharton School of Business. He is a passionate advocate for business owners and entrepreneurs, an exceptional negotiator, author, public speaker, airplane pilot, and proud father of three daughters.

Brett Benton
 

Director

Brett Benton is a successful and accomplished business owner, business builder, and dealmaker. He began his career with a multinational aerospace manufacturing company and lived and worked in Singapore overseeing the firm’s Asian operations. He departed to participate in the purchase of a U.S. aerospace company, for which he served as CEO.

Benton grew the business exponentially, both organically and via acquisitions, before selling it to Hartzell Aviation in 2020. Today, Brett has equity interests in multiple companies, and — when not playing pickleball, golf, or flying his airplane – he consults with others on their business purchase and sale transactions. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University.

Patrick D. Rooney has 15+ years of experience in investment banking, commercial banking, and private equity. He is an experienced small business and real estate investor with many ownership interests in the banking, manufacturing, real estate, and consulting sectors. Patrick’s experience across a broad array of finance facilitates a unique value add for clients seeking a “one-stop shop” for advisory services. Patrick holds a BA from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from UCLA.

Mr. Guglielmo is an expert in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in finance, a Master of Science in Finance, and a Master of Business Administration degree -- all from the University of Tulsa. He serves as an officer for Frontier Energy Services, an industry leader in the development, construction, and operation of midstream oil and natural gas assets. Prior to his work at Acquisition Advisors and Frontier Energy, Chris worked in corporate finance, business development, acquisitions, and divestitures for The Williams Companies, The Nordam Group (global aerospace) and The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. He also has experience with small and mid-size business purchase and sale transactions.

Director

David A. Cole is a certified public accountant (CPA), holds an Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) certification, and is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®). A graduate of the University of Tulsa, Mr. Cole was a partner at KPMG Peat Marwick and served on the KPMG national practice review committee before entering private practice and pursuing his passion for business valuation and business exit planning. Mr. Cole has a considerable amount of experience in a wide range of industries, and he adds value to just about every deal he works. 

Ann Davis is our client services manager, and handles marketing and social media. She attended Oklahoma State University and the University of Oklahoma, is an experienced business owner and entrepreneur, and is an accomplished multi-media artist, designer, and doting grandparent.
