Fatal Accident claims the life of a student and his 3 children. What would you do?

.
Bismillaah Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem
.
Asalaamu alaykum our dearly beloved brothers and sisters,

Indeed to Allah we belong and unto Him we shall return!

As some of you may already know, a brother from the Islamic University by the name of Sa’eed from Canada died a few days ago in a tragic car accident which claimed the lives of two of his children. A third child and his wife survived the incident, however the child was living off of a life support machine which brain damage. All praises due to Allah the Most High, He took her soul back to Him today. The sister has lost her husband and her three young children. We are appealing to our brothers and sisters in the West for your financial support.

I pose a question to all of the married brothers who have children. If you were in this position, how would you expect or like for the brothers to care for, and support your wife?

If it would please you to know that the brothers would get together to raise money for your wife so as to make the trial ever so slightly easier, then we humbly request that you dig deep into your pockets and donate whatever you can.

Many times when events are organised in order to entertain the Muslims, we are quick to dip our hands in our pockets to purchase tickets and we don’t give it much thought. Here we have a sister whose entire family were wiped out in the space of a few days – We pray Allah makes it easy for her and showers her with ease, Ameen.

If any of you wish to verify the authenticity of the news before you donate whatever you can, feel free to contact us and request contact numbers from various brothers here.

Let this be a reminder that death is a reality and something that is promised to all of us. Let’s try and do all the good that we can, by all the means that we can, in that which will bring about the pleasure of Allaah subhanahu before He decides to return our souls to Him.

I leave you with the statement of the best of creation, our beloved Messenger Muhammad may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him whereupon he said,

“Whoever removes a worldly grief from a believer, Allah will remove from him one of the grief’s of the Day of Judgment. Whosoever alleviates a needy person, Allah will alleviate in this world and the next. Whosoever shields a Muslim, Allah will shield him in this world and the next. Allah will aid a servant so long as the servant aids his brother…”
(Narrated by Muslim)

and his saying (May the peace and blessing of Allah be upon him):

“The believers, in their mutual mercy, love and compassion, are like a (single) body; if one part of it feels pain, the rest of the body will join it in staying awake and suffering fever.”
(Narrated by al-Bukhaari)

  1. As-Salaamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh.

How can we donate, and is the sister presently in KSA or in Canada? If she will be returning back to Canada, which city does she live in?

I have a relative in Canada who might be able to help.

    1. Wa alaykum salaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuhu,

I will send you an email now with the details inshaAllah, but to answer your other questions, she is currently in the KSA and I do not know if she will be returning to Canada.

      Wa alaykum salaam

  2. As-Salaamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullah.

I would also like to donate, I have been waiting for an update on how this can be done for aswe;;. I know there is also a lot of other people who want to but have no information ! BarakAllaahu feek.

    1. Wa alaykum salaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuhu,

May Allaah reward you with khayr, Ameen.

Below are two methods in which you can send money over here so we may pass it onto the sister inshaAllah.

This is a copy of the message that I sent out on the 24th of April 2010.

May Allah bless you sister, Ameen. Please read the message below to find out how you can send money if you are able to inshaAllah.

I would first of all like to say that I ask Allah, The Lord of the Glorious Throne that he protects you in this world and the next and He Subhanahu makes you a blessing wherever you are. And that He makes you from those who are grateful when they are given, and patient when they are tested and turn to Him alone for forgiveness when they make mistakes.

Below is a method in which you can successfully and securely send money over to Saudi from the comfort of your own home.

      Please log onto

      http://www.westernunion.co.uk/WUCOMWEB/staticMid.do?method=load&countryCode=GB&languageCode=en&pagename=HomePage

Under the heading, ‘three ways to send money’, click on ‘send online’.

On the next page, towards the right side of the screen, click on ‘register now’.

On the following page, kindly complete the form and press continue.

After you have pressed ‘continue’ you have to complete the payment information.

Under the section where it requests you to enter the receiver’s name kindly write Christopher Beaumont.

Under the section where it requests you to enter the location, kindly select Saudi Arabia. You will not have an option to select a city as money can be collected from anywhere in Saudi Arabia.

After the payment has gone through you may have to verify the payment over the phone for security reasons. It is a free phone number which is 0800 833 833.

      ***

IMPORTANT: Once you have made the payment, you will get a MTCN number which you will have to quote when you call the free phone number for security reasons and this number should also be emailed to me with the exact amount sent. This is so I can quote the number and the amount to the cashier along with proof of ID.

There is a charge to send the money via Western Union; however you will be informed once you have selected how much money you would like to send.

If there are groups from the same area who wish to send money, it would be better to send it at one time so as to save on the sending fee Insha’Allah.

Jazakumullaahu khayran was salaamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuhu

      May Allah reward you all.

  3. I cannot help but feel this is a hoax. If the intention of this story to squeeze money out of people by using their faith, this is despicable.

If you need donations from Canada, then there should be people here that we can get in touch with to donate. People with valid names, addresses and phone numbers.

    1. Asalaamu alaykum,

      Dear sister Umm Noor,

It was anticipated well in advance that some of our brothers and sisters may not believe the authenticity of this event due to the internet blog spot being an unreputable source of information. Also, we are living in a time where hoaxes are wide spread and for this reason I clearly stated in the letter I (Ismaeel Beaumont) sent out that, “If any of you wish to verify the authenticity of the news before you donate whatever you can, feel free to contact us and request contact numbers from various brothers here”. I concur with you that if this is a hoax to squeeze the people’s hard earned money out of them in the name of our faith, then this is not only dispicable, rather may Allah guide the person who is trying to deceive or may His curse be upon them.

The suggestion you suggested concerning “If you need donations from Canada, then there should be people here that we can get in touch with to donate”, is not feasible simply because the brother’s wife (may Allah have mercy on the all), does not have Canadian citizenship and will not be going back to Canada. She was born and raised in Saudi Arabia, so she was either going to return back to her home country, Ethopia or stay here in Saudi Arabia. It was confirmed to me a few days ago that she will stay here in Saudi Arabia, Alhamdulillah. It is for the reasons stated above why donations have been requested to come straight to Saudi Arabia.

I (Ismaeel (Christopher) Beaumont), personally took it upon myself to rally up some funds so as to make the sister plight ever so slightly easier upon her. My motives for doing so was 1) to please Allah and 2) the mere fact that I have a family with two young daughters of similar age. Had I been put in this situation, it would have pleased me to know that the brothers would try and assist my wife financially. I have put my name and reputation on the line for the sake of Allah Subhanahu. If you wish to verify who I am, this is not a problem in the slightest. If it would help you, I will put my contact number below and perhaps you could get a suitable person to contact me, alternatively you can give you a UK house contact number in the UK and also the contact number of my wife – if this would help. If you wish or can think of any other way in order to verify who I am, please share it with me and I’ll be more than happy to alleviate your concerns inshaAllah.

The following brother can be contacted by telephone to verify the story.

(NOTE: The last four digits of the numbers below have been removed from the original email I sent).

      1. 0096654247**** – Ahmad
      2. 0096656859**** – Mahmoud Bashir
      3. 0096656313**** – Musa Khalf
      4. 0096653283**** – Muhammad Uthmaan
      5. 0096656706**** – Ismaeel Abu Maryam Beaumont (birth name: Christopher Beaumont , place of birth: UK, London)

If you still have doubt concerning the validity of this news, then the least we can all do is to make Du’a for the brother and his children that Allah has mercy on them and grants them Jannah, and He Subhanahu grants the wife patience and forbearance, Ameen.

      I hope this has helped.

Wa alaykum salaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuhu

      Your brother in faith,

      Ismaeel Abu Maryam Beaumont

  4. As-salaamu alaykum.

    1. Wa alaykum salaam,

There are two ways in which you can donate to the sister. She now has a bank account that you can send money into directly, alternatively you can send money via Western Union and I will collect it personally and hand it to a brother that will then hand it onto the sister inshaAllah. Please let me know your prefered method inshaAllah.

May Allah reward you with khayr, Ameen

  9. As salaamu alaikum

May Allah reward you with khayr, Ameen.

  10. Salaamun ‘alaykum

I don’t know if this reply will be read since this is an old post but I would like to thank ar-Rahmaan al-Kareem al-Wahhaab ar-Razzaaq firstly for being so generous to our beloved sister Umm Aasiyah and then all the brother and sisters who contributed from around the world.

I’m one of Umm Aasiyahs closest friends and I speak to her daily and visit her once a week. I started to get to know her when I first visited her the day after her family passed away.

I’ve never seen a person so firm in a trial like this and I ask Allaah to increase her from His blessings. Allaah’s promise is true, He never burdens a person above what he/she can handle. She used to go to the haram to attend shaykh ‘Abdul-Muhsin al-‘Abbaad’s lessons even in the beginning of her ‘iddah (we asked the people of knowledge if this is permissible and they said it was) and was passing by baqee’ where her families grave are every time and she said that this reminded her how close death is and that she has to prepare for it too. She said that if Allaah hadn’t blessed her with studying this noble deen then she wouldn’t been able to survive this trial, lillaahil hamdu wal minnah.

She want back to school after ramadhaan and she’s now living an honourably life being able to provide for herself without asking people to provide for her due to the contributions she recieved bi fadhlillaahi awwalan wa aakhiran. Even though she suffered a lot of grief, then this made the trial a slightly easier as stated in the post, jazaakumullaahu khayran.

This is just a quick message to ensure all of the people interested that the sister is in a state of belief, patience, pleasure and even gratitude. This is what we know of her, and we don’t praise anyone above Allaah.

Excuse my bad English this is not my native language.
    Wassalaam

    Umm Dawud as-Swaydiyyah

    1. As salaam alaikum wa Rahmatullahi
