Hi! I am looking forward to trying your method for making continous binding. It sounds great! In your Sizzlin’ Sixties book, for help with binding the odd-angled corners, you write to go to your tutorials tab on your blog. However, I’m not finding that particular help. I miter my corners on quilts, but have never done these angles before and any tip would be appreciated. I love your Favorite Quilts from Anka’s Treasures book! About 14 of these quilts have been made by friends at my local quilt shop! I made the Sweet Dreams twice! Keep up the creative quilting!

I loved the story about your Great-grandmother and about your Mother. My Grandmother Selma taught me to sew and I am teaching our granddaughters to sew. Claudia, age 9, just finished her first lap-sized quilt! She enjoyed using my design board to plan her quilt.

Being new I went through a bunch of your archives and checked out your tutorials. You are an engaging writer and your blog site is full of good information. I can’t wait to work on the binding tutorials. My opinion of a good blog, is when the writers share their experiences and expand their quilting horizons along with us. I like feeling part of a “quilting community.”

Thank you so much for your help with the lettering on the Cutie Pie Quilt. I love this pattern, however, I used the “flip & sew” method of sewing so that it did not need any additional quilting after it was finished. It worked out very well. I can’t wait to explore your site–I love your colors and style. Again, thanks for your prompt and helpful reply.
Bless you! I have been unable to get a good miter on 135 degree angles. I had read other tutorials but none of them specified exactly where to align the fold formed in your step five. I knew there had to be a specific place. I am so glad to finally have detailed instructions with great pictures. No more lumpy miters!! Thank you.

I’m sorry but I don’t have a digital pattern of this tutorial to print out. If you have a phone or ipad, you can have it sitting next to your machine as a reference while you work.
