I saw the article featuring you in the APQ. It was great. I love the pattern for the lonestar (I think you called it something else). Can you tell me the name of the pattern and where I can find it? Thanks! You have beautiful work!

  2. June Sharar says:

I saw the article in APQ as well and really enjoyed it. I’m looking to make some quilts in a hurry for my grandchildren. I have made 3 of them quilts, but I have 3 more and I noticed you use bigger pieces which might make it go quicker? I have a 4 year old boy and a 3 year old boy and a brand new baby girl.

Any suggestions? I’d love to buy one of your books if you have any ideas for me. I like to make them about twin size & so they can use them for several years. Then I need to make one for my 35 year old daughter who loves greens & purples. I’d like to ,make hers a queen size at least ……

Thank you for your web site & your blogging!

  3. Denise Briggs says:

    Hello,
Congrats on your spread in the APQ.

Not only do you have thorough instructions but you give enjoyment in the new techniques and twists.

Your color choices are eye catching and appealing.

Thank you for the good work. I have made several of your patterns and admired others in the books.

I anticipate your next project. You know your stuff. Good luck on your career.

    Sincerely

Can you please tell me how or where to find the book Fat Quarter Cottage? I love the Shooting Star pattern and want to make a quilt for my home. Can I order it through your website or do I need to get it from my favorite quilt store?

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Thank you,

I have been buying and using Anka’s patterns for a couple of years and was delighted to read the article in the October 2008 APQ. Thanks so much for all of your help!

  7. Sheila Gaub says:

Heather, thank you for coming to Montana where we enjoyed a couple of days with you at Quilts on Broadway. Your quilts are gorgeous and the creativity is fascinating. I noticed in the American Patchwork & Quilting magazine (Oct. 2008) a quilt entitled “Autumn Harvest.” Is this pattern available? Would love to make it — not for this year — but for next. Again — thank you

  8. Suzie says:

Where can I buy your books and patterns? Would you send them to Germany?
Your blog is amazing, so full of wonderful quilts!!!

  9. Linda Holm says:

I love every quilt in the favorites book. I have ( and also my sisters, whom I have converted to quilters) done many in the book.
I love your patterns because I love the combination of pieced blocks and applique.
Keep designing such beautiful quilts (although it’s tough on my finances.

I love your website and visit frequently for inspiration. My friend and I visited one of our local quilt shops over the weekend and the owner had returned from market. She showed us your new book and patterns. My friend bought the only book she had and I ordered it. We also both ordered your new pattern Double Take 3. I am glad it is availalbe in multiple sizes. I love your sewing room and the view from your deck. Lucky you! Thanks for sharing your talent and ideas. I printed out your binding method. It is so fast. Keep up the good work.

I recently attended a Minnesota Road Show @ Cozy Quilts in Spokane, Wa. The presentation was terrific and I won a copy of your book “Sizzlin Sixties” from one of the drawings. I would like to purchase another book for fellow quilter who went with me to Spokane but none of the local quilt shops have any copies. Can I buy directly from you? Your response would be greatly appreciated. Thank you…………Bobbi

Angles With Ease 2 – I purchased this book at a quilt shop some time ago, not realizing I wouldn’t be able to buy a Triangler anywhere. I’ve tried to acquire the PDF, but haven’t had a response from Heather through her website or instagram. I’m pretty frustrated. I know she’s still using patterns from this book as her preview of next year’s Christmas line included a quilt from this book. Not sure I will buy one of her books again.

    • Hi Petunia,

I’m sorry you haven’t heard back from me in regards to this comment. I will admit that I haven’t been using this blog as of late, so I hadn’t seen your comment. I do check my Instagram and email multiple times a day. I didn’t see anything on Instagram from your but I did find two emails from you in Oct and Nov. I also found my responses, which were on Oct 22nd and Nov. 30th. I didn’t get a response from either of them. I’m hoping you get this response and I’m hoping you got one of the emails too.
