A user interface is a integral part of playing any MMO, and while the default interface within Age of Conan gets the job done its not perfect luckily there is quite a nice selection open to users to change this how they see fit.
Ok firstly lets compare the default UI with a custom UI (in this case "stonerune"):
Now as you can see there is a great difference between the two, and most custom UI's are superior to the default. The biggest benefit of having a custom UI is the access to many more buttons to place skills, pots or mounts but some offer additional features such as a unique mini maps, lag metres, casting bars etc.

Ok so you have choosen a nice UI you would like to try, but how do you install it? Well unlike most other MMO's, there has been a nice programme devolped called "AOC UI Installer" this nifty application will do all the leg work for you! great stuff!

Quick Tip: When installing your new UI, rember you can do it all in-game! Just type /reloadui in the chat bar and enjoy.
