Dye-Sublimation Ribbons

 Ribbon - Smoothly blends up to 16.7 million colors to produce photo-quality images.

 

  Ribbon - Ideal for money-saving monochrome applications such as printing smooth black and white photos, text and visible-light-readable bar codes.

 

Dye-Sublimation/Resin Combination Ribbons

 ribbons - Perfect for printing full-color cards with resin black text and visible-light and infrared-readable bar codes.

 

Ribbons with two resin black g_k.gif (152 bytes) panels are for fast, efficient dual-sided printing.

Resin Ribbons

Single color resin ribbons print at 300 equal sized dots per inch and do not blend. Resin images are required for barcodes and resin ribbons are economical for single color text requirements.  Resin ribbons are available in a verity of standard colors including metallic silver and gold along with special scratch off ribbons.  Resin panels are included in many dye-sublimation ribbons for printing barcodes and text on the rear side of the card.

Ribbon color codes

These letter codes indicate the type of ribbon panels and provide an easy way to distinguish Dye-Sublimation and Resin plastic card ribbons:

=Dye-Sublimation Yellow

=Dye-Sublimation Magenta

=Dye-Sublimation Cyan

=Resin Black

=Clear Overlay

=Dye-Sublimation Black
