Battery M.D. provided the exclusiveremanufacturing on behalf of high voltage battery pack DaimlerChrysler for all of their Electric EPIC minivans from May of 2002 until program end in 2004.  During that program, Battery M.D. established a proprietary method to repair (remanufacture) battery packs using only used batteries rather than requiring new batteries for the repair (SAFT NiMH).  This program saved DaimlerChrysler over $1.5M in warranty costs in less than 2 years.  Battery M.D. was awarded a Tier 1 supplier status and still maintains that status today.
