Edinburgh Bed and Breakfast
We currently have six letting rooms and can accommodate singles, couples and families. Our house is our home and we would like you to make it yours during your stay here.
We offer a freshly cooked traditional Scottish style breakfast using local produce where possible, in addition to a cold buffet selection with fruit juice, tea and coffee. There is free on street parking but we are only 1.5 miles from the city centre, accessible by numerous different bus services stopping only 25m from our front door.
Kingsley is a perfect base to explore the city of Edinburgh, a cultural and historical capital with something to offer for every taste, day and night. Kingsley is ideally located to visit Holyrood Palace and the Queens Park, the Royal Observatory, the historic Royal Mile, the Scottish Parliament and the busy Edinburgh shopping streets.
For business travellers we are located close to Edinburgh Royal Observatory, Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh University (Kings Buildings), British Geological Survey, Scottish Agricultural College and the Royal College of Surgeons. We welcome business travellers, families, walkers, cyclists and have private parking for cyclists/motorcyclists.
We are happy to arrange bus tours, taxis, theatre tickets or restaurant reservations, or to help with any other travel or entertainment that you may wish to pursue whilst in Edinburgh.
Kingsley is also well tee'd up for golfers, surrounded by the luscious greens of Craigmillar Park, Prestonfield, Braids, Duddingston, Liberton and Mortonhall Golf Clubs - all within a 5 mile radius. We are always happy to book Tee-times in advance for you and to arrange golf further afield if you so desire.
In keeping with the style of this Victorian home, we have a large and inviting staircase- but please note that there is no lift. As per Government guidelines we also practise a definite "No Smoking" policy.
We cannot accommodate pets but a young and lively Springer Spaniel lives at this address! Meet Mister Tom!
