Workplace Ethics Publications
The need to instill ethical values in young workers has never been greater. Employers look at work ethics and soft skills as the primary decision points in hiring, as well as the key link to job success for employees.
It’s for Real Workplace Ethics, our motivating and easy-to-use ethics curriculum shares stories about young employees’ ethical entanglements at work and asks your students to solve the employees’ problems. Each of the four series contains 16 lessons.
Your students are asked, “What would you do?” and then they are given the “Boss’s Point of View.” They apply their ethics knowledge to three activities, a question-and-answer column, a cartoon, an assessment, and a blog.
Our new Edition 3 is recommended for most programs. However, for those with special requirements, other versions that are listed below may be helpful.

Our newest edition It’s for Real Workplace Ethics offers your first online access to the program, updated activities, new images and colorful graphics. Students may connect to the program any time, any place with a user name and password. A new writing blog, scored assessment, and—soon to come—Spanish-English vocabulary words are additions to the new Ed3 of It’s for Real Workplace Ethics.
The Teacher’s Desktop that accompanies the online version only adds multiple student rosters, pre- and post-test capability, required and optional lessons, minimum score setting, scores by student and class, editing of student information, easy navigation.

This earlier edition of It’s for Real Workplace Ethics offers characters with a different look than Ed3. The interactive activitiesin CD formatare useful for schools and other facilities that do not have access to the Internet. The PDF version is available for schools that prefer to print their ethics materials.

This two-CD series offers two types of features. Series III focuses on the ethics of employees and Series IV features ethics by employers that impact the employee, including such things as intimidation, delaying paycheck, sexual harassment, and many others. In these lessons, your students will learn in advance some of the troubling situations that bosses and co-workers can generate.

Older students and adults can benefit from Reality Workplace Ethics, where the situations workers encounter are more dramatic than those in It’s for Real Workplace Ethics, for example, stealing vs. dishonesty. Each of the eight lessons requires student so separate right from wrong and recommend a solution to an ethical problem.
