CEFLY Carolina Speed Meet
"Running with a Purpose"
The meet will start propmtly at 8:30 a.m. There is a maximum of three events per athlete and each club may register up to eight athletes per age group. There will be an award to top 6 places. Champion trophies for each individual event winner. There is a limited to 1/4 inch spikes or no spikes at all. This will be strictly enforced. Athletes will not be allowed to run with longer spikes. 8 lane, all weather, rubber track, FinishLynx FAT timing. No tape decks, radior or glass. No glass containers, radios, loud devices allowed in the facility. Tents will be allowed only in designated areas.
ENTRY FEE: The entry fee is $5 per athlete/ $10 per relay or $200 per Club. Each club participating is required to assign two(2) volunteers. Payment must be made by cash, certified check, money order or Club check. No personal checks will be accepted.
Payment must be received by May 30, 2012 or Prior to 8:30am the day of meet. Checks should be made out to Carolina Elite Track Club and mailed to:

RUNNING EVENTS: Start Time 9:00am
- 80/100/110 Hurdles
- 60 Meter Dash (Sub Sub Bantam)
- 100 Meter Dash ( Sub Bantam & Above)
- 400 Meter Dash ( Sub Bantam & Above)
- 200 Meter Dash ( Sub Bantam & Above)
- 4x100 Relay ( Sub Bantam & Above)

The Carolina Elite Track & Field club is a 501c volunteer organization that provides the opportunity for youth track athletes of all ages (6 thru 18) and skill levels to train and compete in the sport of track and field. Carolina Elite welcomes sponsors and encourages continued and future support for this volunteer organization.
Central to the Carolina Elite mission is the development of the “whole” child. Using track and field as a conduit, we strive to build leaders who not only excel in their sport but, more importantly, within their classroom and as contributing members of their community. Our goal is to promote the sport of track and field while focusing on teaming, overall character, attitude and strengthening individuals both physically and spiritually.
With the 2012 CEFLY Carolina Elite Speed Meet, our youth will have the opportunity to use their sport to give back to their community,
“ running with a purpose”.
We are seeking sponsors for each of our nine events of the day. Your sponsorship will benefit Carolina Elite youth athletes. Additionally, we will donate fifty percent (50%) of the sponsorship proceeds to Harrison McKinion and the McKinion family of Gospel-Centered Living in a ceremony during the meet.
Harrison is a 4th grader and is battling an extremely rare form of Leukemia. He is the only person in the world with this type of Leukemia and is currently in remission.
This family was selected as our beneficiary because Harrison is such a strong fighter and doesn't know how to quit. His stregnth is an inspiration to us all.
Carolina Elite has an unwavering service to lift up children in our community and provide them with life skills that will enable them to succeed. While helping them facilitate their mission, we will teach our youth athletes that no matter where they are, they have the opportunity to give their time and change lives.
