My sister-in-law, Sarah Kim, is a very gifted and talented dancer. She not only performs but passes on her knowledge of dance to young ones that attend Stage Lights Dance Studio classes in Newark, DE. (http://www.stagelightsdancestudio.com/index.html) She has danced most of her life and studied under many great dance teachers. She works very hard but makes it look so easy. It was awesome for her to ask me to take some shots for her as I respect her line work very much. I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to capture her strength within her movements. I have no knowledge of dance (except for a brief brutal 3 months of my life when i was 6) but I certainly understand the difficulty in body positions. I feel dance and my passion of rock climbing have such a close resemblance in the beauty of the movement. Those that perform well seem to defy gravity with techniques and body positions that astound the mind. This was my first attempt at capturing SK in her element.
