Address Search Tips
Less is more with address searches. It is best to use Like comparison and start with just the address number and street name.
For example, entering 123 Palafox will return 123 N Palafox St, 123 S Palafox Pl, 1234 Palafox Rd, etc...
The desired address is likely to be returned in your first attempt.
Entering too much information is likely to cause the address to be skipped.
We try to adhere to U.S Postal standards when entering physical addresses, but variations may occur.
For example, entering 123 Palafox Street would not return 123 N Palafox St.
Enclose partial exact match text in quotes
When using the Like comparison operator, sometimes you want to match exactly part of the search value.
For example, when trying to find addresses on W St, if you enter just a W in the search value, you will get all
addresses with a W in it, i.e. Wyatt Ln, Hawkins Rd, Grandview St, etc... This is likely to exceed the allowed query result limit.
To limit this, enclose the exact portion in quotes. i.e Entering 123 "W ST" still returns both 123 N W St and 123 S Grandview St.,
but is likely to sufficiently limit results to allow you to find the desired address.
