Heating zones
We all want a constant comfortable room temperature, therefore every home heating systems need controls. The answer is EES. Building Regulations Part L states that it is no longer acceptable to control the whole house from a single temperature controller, or to heat the whole house all day while many rooms are not in use. It is wasteful of Energy and money and produces more of the “greenhouse” gases, which contribute to global warming.
Temperature adjustments during the day
The ability to centrally control different room temperatures during different program times has previously not been possible. But now, thanks to EES innovative CyclopeŽ and Classic range technology it is. Having one temperature for an hour as you wake, a lower temperature during the day, a rise as homecoming approaches to create an ideal comfort level during the evening and then a lower background temperature overnight is now a reality.
The EES Classic range is controlled centrally by our 2 zone pilot wire programmer. The EES CyclopeŽ range is controlled centrally by our hand held wireless, 4 zone CyclopeŽ programmer with well proven ZigBee wireless technology, that makes installation quick and easy.
The EES CyclopeŽ programmer can control 15 radiators and up to 4 zones.
CyclopeŽ the first wireless device of its kind that can receive, display and alter the current room temperature and radiator settings. ZigBee radios in each radiator throughout a hotel, church, office, house or apartment, create a self-forming, self-healing wireless network that lets each radiator communicate with the remote control anywhere in the residence. With its electronic controls, innovative CyclopeŽ heat management and by calculating the electricity flow needed, EES offer the most efficient & controllable heat possible, exactly when and where you want it. Therefore, complying with the energy efficiency requirements of the Building Regulations Part L.

Zone electric heat can reduce energy consumption in a house by up to 30%. In 2006, the average annual BTU's required to heat a single family home with electricity required 14.2 million BTU'sc. The average annual BTU's required to heat a single family home with gas required 61.1 million BTU'sc. Less efficient gas systems require more heat and more energy to warm a home to the same comfort level as homes heated with electricity. The less energy we use in our homes, the less air pollution we generate and the more we save on monthly bills. When only a single room needs heating, EES heaters burn less energy than a whole-house furnace.
