CHILDREN’S CLASSES

c’est si bon! is a cooking school located in Chapel Hill. Devoted to teaching technique rather than recipes, we believe that cooking brings us closer to the heart!

Classy Kids Cook – Classy Kids Cook is the Triangle’s Premier Cooking School for Kids.  Nationally recognized, we are the only cooking school to offer your child the combined life skills of etiquette training with culinary lessons.  Our school, set in a retail shopping center, is the only location that features a full commercial kitchen for a truly exciting experience. Located in the Waterford Shopping Center in Cary.

Dinners at Home offers six weeks of camp starting in June and continuing into August with different age groups on different weeks. Its $200, plus the cost of food.

Lil’ Chef cooking classes – Opening January in Falls River Town Center in North Raleigh. We will work together to accomplish tasks and talk about how to eat healthy and the importance of good nutrition.  Your child will also learn valuable skills such as chemistry, math, science, and creativity. Just imagine your self confident child asking if he or she can cook dinner for you one night soon. Offering week long classes, track out camps and birthday parties.

Wendy’s Home Economics – Wendy Perry of Zebulon is developing a new series of classes that will soon be posted on her website.

ADULT CLASSES

At home with Patricia Wells – Travel to France for a week in Provence with an emphasis on Truffles, Fitness, Fish or Wine – and hand’s on cooking, visit markets, restaurants, vineyards and study French cheese first hand and in depth; or to Paris, for visits to markets and cheese-aging cellars,  special wine tastings, oil tastings, and hand’s on cooking and meals in some of the city’s top restaurants. Wells lives in Raleigh.

The Fearington House Culinary School – Two day hands-on cooking classes at The Fearrington House with Executive Chef Colin Bedford at North Carolina’s only AAA Five Diamond Restaurant

An Intimate Evening Cooking with Chef Arthur at the Irregardless Cafe – Experience the Irregardless philosophy, learn cooking techniques and be nourished in many ways. Cooking lesson, dinner and wine tasting $50.00/person. Space is limited, please call and reserve 833-8898.

Fuquay Mineral Spring Inn & Garden Bed and Breakfast – Chef Sharon Ricks offers two hour sessions. Each class will discuss healthy cooking tips for each dish and in general what one can do to cook healthier each day.

Love at first bite – Chef Brian Adornetto is a culinary instructor working in North Raleigh. Whether you would like to get tips on Grilling, Holiday and Special Occasion cooking, Ethnic Cuisine, or something that you just haven’t been able to master yet, Chef Brian will design a theme and menu for your class and make it a delightfully memorable event.

      I am mental healthy case manager and serve adults recovering from mental illnesses. I currently offer cooking groups and am looking to educate my consumers on healthy eating and cooking. If you would be willing to voluteer some of your knowledge and time this would be a great opportuniy to get to know some wonderful people from the mental health population of Raleigh.
