Dental professionals see the devastating effects of tooth demineralization every day, but the process starts long before the tooth is visibly damaged. Science has now provided us with effective tools to prevent, stop and reverse the process. Learn how to help patients rebuild damaged tooth structure at a microscopic level.

Goals of this program are to:


1) Appreciate the role of the dental professional in remineralization education

2) Understand the role of saliva in erosion

3) Learn how to stimulate the flow of healthy saliva

4) Discover the unique contribution of xylitol, fluoride varnish, tri-calcium phosphate/fluoride paste, NovaMin compounds and glass ionomers in tooth remineralization.
