A live look at one of the main crossroads in
the village
A view from the Southern edge
of the village looking roughly South West in the general direction of Ardingly and often giving beautiful sunset views.
The road straight ahead of you leads down to Horsted Keynes Bluebell
Railway station. To the right is the village proper and to the left,
Haywards Heath. If you can't see
anything that will either be because the camera is broken yet again, or more
likely because we have no street lighting and it's dark at night in Sussex! At
present there is daylight from approximately 06:00 to 18:00. This camera
is in an exposed location so can get "steamed up" when there's wet
weather. |

Live Horsted Keynes Sky View.
This
camera points towards the northern sky to show the clouds directly over the
village of Horsted Keynes. Our longest running camera, it has been
continuously on line
since 1998 and is linked on and off from the main BBC web site. This
new camera has been set up to show the clouds and aircraft, it seems prone to "white out" occasionally. We have done our best to
prevent this happening and can only apologise if you can't see the
picture clearly. |

Live
Horsted Keynes Telescope Camera
We live in one of the last areas in
Southern England where the sky is still reasonably dark at night with little light
pollution. Take a look back when the weather allows us to observe and
you will see what we can see! |
