I was excited to hit my one hundredth bento yesterday and am hoping other people may be interested in a contest to celebrate. If you didn’t see bento 100 please take a look and comment. Once that bento reaches twenty comments I will post my first contest so don’t miss out!
Today’s bento is a celebration of Spring. Flowers are throughout the bento in the vegetables, fruits, and even the mashed potatoes!
The main course is grilled pork chops with garlic mashed potatoes. To this I have added flowers of carrot, yellow squash, tomato, and bologna. On the top tier I have olives, red peppers stuffed with herb cream cheese, kiwi, orange segments, and more flowers – this time using melon.
