 Healthy Families

Healthy Families is a national, evidence-based home visiting program providing hands-on parenting and child development education using the Parents As Teachers (PAT) curriculum. Services are available through Insights for young pregnant and/or parenting families, age 21 and under and living in Multnomah County.

SEEDS

Supporting Early Emerging Development Skills (SEEDS) offers in home parent education, child developmental screenings and support services to adolescent parents age 22 and under living within the City of Portland. The SEEDS Program utilizes the Parents As Teachers (PAT) Curriculum.

Child Welfare and Foster Care Program

The Echo program provides intensive case management and life skills services with an additional focus on hands-on parent education, child development and DHS advocacy to parents age 22 and under. Parents in Echo typically have an open case with DHS Child Welfare, are in foster care themselves or their children are in a foster placement.

Housing Programs

The Homesafe Program offers housing assistance and intensive case management for houseless young birthing parents aged 20 and under at entry. The Housing Assistance to Pregnant and Parenting Youth (HAPPY) program provides short term rental assistance for young parents up to age 22.

Christina Project

The Christina Project offers intimate violence education through harm reduction case management, support and advocacy for birthing parents age 22 and under who are currently experiencing or have experienced intimate partner violence.

School Programs

Parenting support and education is offered by Insights staff through an independent contract with the Fir Ridge Campus of the David Douglas school district.
