Vintage Hewlett Packard HP 11C Scientific Calculator
Found
at an estate sale, this unfortunate vintage HP 11C scientific
calculator with case is no longer the thing of beauty it once
was. That's because the owner not only scratched an identifier
into the back, he or she also scratched it into the aluminum of the
front just above the display (see photos, which show actual
item). It also has what I believe to be a curved hairline crack
in the display, although I suppose it's possible that a hair has just
gotten in there somehow. It's about an inch from the left end of
the display, near the 4 in the small photo. This calculator turns
on and passes both the startup self test and the keyboard self
test. Batteries are included.
