JordanRou: Art Dolls, Mixed Media, & More

In her own words:

Hello everyone! My name is Jordan, and I own the etsy shop JordanRou. I do a lot of art doll and collage work, which is what you can find in my shop! I have been hand-sewing dolls since I made my first sock doll at age 8, and that intrest has evolved into the much more elaborate dolls I make now. All of the dolls in my shop are still sewn by hand, and each is completely one of a kind. All the dolls I make have a fantasy theme - I absolutely love fantasy novels! I have been experimenting with collage elements as a part of my artwork only very recently, but I really like the direction that is headed! I'm a member of etsy's ADO (Art Dolls Only) team, and you can see more pictures of my work on their website, artdollsonly.com My dream is to one day be able to support myself through my art. I love Etsy, because it's helping that dream come true!

Right now I have a sale on my children's and summer dolls, through December 31st! I also recently added some Christmas ornaments to my shop, which are all priced under 10 dollars! Be sure to check it out!

Singing Cat Studio: Polymer Clay and Mixed Media Beads and Jewelry

In her own words:

I'm Kim from Singing Cat Studio. Five years ago when I took my first basic beading class, I became an instant beadaholic. Then, about two years ago, I decided to experiment with making my own beads and started to play with polymer clay. The result is Singing Cat Studio, for which I make polymer clay and mixed media beads and jewelry. I often incorporate elements in my beads, including antique and vintage buttons, which connect me to my love sewing and a past life as a dressmaker and designer. I especially like to play with color, texture, and a variety of materials in my work.

BellaMeiDesigns: Vintage and Nature Inspired Jewelry

In her own words:

My name is Ni and my shop’s name is BellaMeiDesigns. As growing up, I’ve always dreamed of becoming a designer of some sort. First it was clothes, then handbags and now jewelry.

I named the shop after my 5 year old daughter. Bella is her first name, and Mei is her middle name. Both “Bella” and “Mei” mean beautiful in both Italian and Chinese. I want to create beautiful jewelry as beautiful as her.

I get my inspirations from just about everything: nature, vintage pieces, romantic pieces, cooking, etc…

Sweet Baby Jane's: Modern Organic Baby Blankets

In her own words:

My name is Gabrielle. I am a mama of two wonderful and inspiring little girls, wife to my amazing husband, avid crafter, bookworm and owner of Sweet Baby Jane's.

I have always been a creative person. My Grandfather was my biggest artistic influence when I was a child. He was a set designer at one time and was always sketching little things for me and my siblings. He set the foundation for my love of art in all forms: drawing, painting, dancing and any other method of self expression. My Grandmother and Mother were both avid sewers and taught me the craft at an early age. With their guidance I was soon creating everything I could!

Not much has changed. After the births of our daughters I was passionately inspired to direct my artistic focus to the creation of Sweet Baby Jane's. I wanted to create modern, handmade, eco-friendly products for sweet babes everywhere! And so I did! My days are now spent doing the things I am most passionate about with the people I love more than anything in the world.

Ittybit Delights: Delightful Handcrafted Creations

In her own words:

Hi, my name is Nicole and the face behind Ittybit Delights. I've enjoyed crafting most of my life but I take pride in handcrafting my own jewelry pieces from clay and incorporating other beautiful types of beads to create my finished pieces. I like mixing different clay colors together in achieving different color palettes. I also enjoy using a variety of mica powders and tools to give my pieces their original OOAK (one of a kind) look. I would love for you to stop by my little shop and take a look.

In addition to etsy, I also have a blog where you can follow me and see what other projects I'm currently working on.

AllysAnnesKidsStuff: Soft Toys, Quilts , Hats, Bootie

In her own words:

My name is Sally and I live on a small farm in South Australia where I spend my days making toys and quilts.I also hand dye fabric and scarves which I sell locally and in my other Etsy shops. It is great having so many different obsessions ,as each day I get to do something different and new.

I'm never sure which is my favourite item-I think it is the one I am making at the time- but I do have a soft spot for my toys.I try to make them bright and quirky and sometimes a bit daggy; soft, with legs and trunks small hands can grasp and hold easily.

On Etsy I also have a scarf shop and a silk fabric supply shop.

Threefold Designs: Craft for Misfits!

In her own words:

My name’s Michelle, and I design alternative and original cross stitch kits – hence ‘craft for misfits!’.

I started designing because I wanted more people to try cross stitch, as it’s such a relaxing and rewarding hobby that’s easy to learn. My designs range from leopard print and skulls, to Astrology and Egyptian Mythology, and start from easy bookmark size to large wall hanging size. I try to cater for as many budgets and skill levels as possible!

As well as designing cross stitch kits, I am currently studying the Diploma of Woven Tapestry, and co-host a goth/darkwave radio show .

Everything in my shop is 12% off until the end of December

A.L. Designs: Handmade Jewelry and Miniature Food

In her own words:

HI!! My name is Adrine and I am with A.L. Designs. Initially, I went into art in order to design unique pieces for myself to wear. However, in time, I came to fall in love with it and started exploring the various crafting techniques. I just can't stop doing them everyday! I always love something with flowers, plants, birds, fairy and things that are natural.

I have been playing with clay for 5 years and I still love it. The clay is where I search for different techniques to be used on my current designs. :)

Sometimes I like something cute not just glam style. I think they can be interesting as well. I am hoping to create something as real as possible with clay. They look amazingly real like edible food. As for fairy I always feel a link between me and them so I like to make them as if in nature.

I am someone cheerful and very happy with my 6 babies (not real babies) - 2 dogs, 1 bunny and my 3 hamsters. :) To me my pets are like part of my family. I have wonderful friends I always admire, and that have gone through thick and thin with me. :) I don't know if this is crazy dream ... but I do think of helping as many animals as I can when I am financial very stable. Everyone deserve a second chance to lead a better life. :)

I sell my craft at the fair, online stores, my blog and my personal website.

Special promotion ONLY for Indie's readers
. During the check out just mention "Indie's readers" on ETSY or during purchase on my website, all Indie's readers will get a special discount of 15% till 30th of December 2010.

Besty: Prints and Things and Treasures

In her own words:

Hi, my name is Betsy Dorman and I have carved a little business out of my corner of the world in the Green Mountains. My shop name is "besty" because I decided to embrace the most common misspelling of my name. I officially opened in September after years of dreaming. I make all sorts of things and embark on lots of different crafty adventures. In my shop I currently have animal alphabet prints, linocut print onesies, holiday ornaments, and linens for the quirky-yet- fashionable modern home. I'm VERY open to custom orders and will be listing hand-bound books soon, as I have created several custom wedding and baby books in the past. I love the process of taking an idea and turning it into something you can actually hold in your hands.

In celebration of the kickoff of this holiday season, I am offering free shipping to the US and Canada through Friday, December 3. There are a few items like ornaments and select onesies marked down 15% in the store. And in appreciation of this delightful feature here on indiecraftcorner, I would like to offer readers an additional 10% off their purchase with the coupon code ICCBLOG10 thru December 5th. I love being on etsy because I am constantly amazed by the level of camaraderie, talent and sheer crafty genius I encounter every single day!

Joelle's Doll: Unique Handmade Cloth Dolls

In her own words:

I grew up near Buffalo, NY, and loved playing with dolls as a child. I still own many of those dolls.
My mother taught me how to sew when I was a little girl. I have been making OOAK handmade cloth dolls for about 7 years. The part of creating a doll I enjoy the most is deciding what type of character they will be: how their face will look, what they will wear, their personality.

My characters have included mermaids, witches, nuns and pirates.

In addition to selling my dolls on etsy, I sell them at about a dozen arts & crafts shows per year, primarily in Upstate New York. Craft shows are fun because I get to see how excited the little girls (and big girls) get when they spot the dolls. One girl started dancing in my booth because she was so happy. Often, when people visit my booth, they see dolls who remind them of people they know.
The inspiration for Joelle's Dolls comes from people I've seen and from my imagination.

In addition to etsy, I have a fan page on facebook
