Employed - AFLAC Sales Agent!!!

Thank God. I am employed! I accepted a position today as an AFLAC sales rep and start immediately. I am very excited about this opportunity and ask that all of my family and friends keep me in mind when they are thinking of additional insurance either as an individual, for the company they work for or if they are self-employed. I start training Monday and am expected to have appointments set for Friday of that week. I have used AFLAC in the past as a Human Resource Manager and love their policies that they offer the employees.

Well, this must be short because I do have to set up my continuing education classes now so I will be in compliance by Monday!!!

Talk to you later!

Congratulations, what great news. The program you are taking greatly advances your ability to open your own agency in the future if you are so inclined. All those CU's that must be attained are daunting for most people, it is refreshing that it only means opportunity to you.

I hope that this AFLAC position works out for you, that you prosper with it, and enjoy it. But, if you're collecting unemployment, I don't think you should stop that until after you take all of those classes and actually begin to work for AFLAC and start making money.

Found your blog doing an "Aflac agent sales" search on Google. I've been an Aflac agent, DSC, back-to-agent since 2001. For the right person (and your background is perfect), Aflac insurance sales can be very lucrative. Hopefully, by now, you're stacking up awards, bonus checks, and trips. I salute the agent that recruited you.

I am considering accepting a position as an AFLAC Sales Rep and it is totally commission based. Is this the position you have? How are you liking it and is it possible to make a good living? Thanks!

You can be succesful; however becoming burnt out and overwhelmed by the logistics of aflac is more likely as common talk sughests the sales agents have an 8o% turnover rate. But work hard and you may become one that makes lots of money.
Good luck!
