Kidscruz is a web site for Bull River Cruises. These are no ordinary cruises. These are a fun-packed classrooms on the water. We frollic with dolphin, sore with egrets, dive with pelicans, and fish with cormorants. On our longer cruises, we visit a Barrier Island, comb the beach, then on the way back we drop a trawl net and examine our catch.

Captain Michael Neal designed and commissioned the Island Explorer in 1999. This unique tri-hull vessel has proved to be the perfect vessel for fulfiling our mission of providing quality Eco-tourism. Since then he has expanded the business to the point where we educate almost 4000 school-age children every year. School groups, tour groups, girl scouts, church groups, and various non-profits have discovered the wonders of the low country through Michael's unique vision and guidance.

Captain Walt joined the team in 2000. With a degree in Biology and a career in computer programming and experience in teaching, Captain Walt is able to explain the mysteries of the marsh to young and old alike. Captain of his own luxury yacht, the Adventurer, he loves to entertain and share his fascination of the low country with kids and adults.
