KEN BRODHAGEN - Senior Investigator, is a retired Operations Commander and a former Captain of Internal Affairs of the Green Bay Police Department, who had 30 plus years experience in law enforcement, which included conducting homicide, background, and internal affairs investigations. GREG BUENNING - Senior Investigator, served 24 years on the Green Bay Police Department. Greg retired as a Detective, serving 11 years in that position. He investigated numerous crimes during his tenure, and was assigned as Lead Investigator in many high profile cases. Greg has attended many investigative schools, including the Reid Interview and Interrogation School. He has been a licensed private investigator for 13 years. JIM JEFFERS has a bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has 20 plus years experience in pre-employment interviewing and testing for large companies. STEVE SCULLY served 29 years on the Green Bay Police Department. Steve retired as a School Resource Officer, serving 11 years in that position. He was an investigator for 8 years prior to that. He investigated numerous crimes during his tenure, and was assigned as Lead Investigator in numerous high profile cases. Steve has attended many investigative schools, including the Reid Interview and Interrogation School. Steve was the recipient of several international and state policing awards. |

DAVE SCHMITZ came to us from the Green Bay Police Department where is served for 30 years. He honed his investigative skills primarily while working as a patrol officer and then as a community police officer. He also worked as an investigator and a crime prevention officer. While at the GBPD he was trained in the Reid Technique of investigative interviewing. Dave has been with Langan and Associates since 2017. He specializes in: background checks, fraud investigations, and private investigations. BRIAN LANGAN has 12 plus years of experience in law enforcement. He is employed as a correction supervisor for the Brown County Sheriff’s Department. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a bachelor of science degree in Criminal Justice and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Formerly he was employed as an internal investigator for the Oneida Tribe.
GORDON KOWALESKI is a Computer Forensics Examiner with over 21 years
law enforcement experience. Gordon has been a computer forensics examiner for
over 5 years with over 550 hours of training in this field. LAUREN GREENE has 10 years of law enforcement experience working for the Green Bay Police Department. In 2020, after retiring from law enforcement, Lauren came to Langan as a full time investigator. She has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater. She also interned with the US Marshals in Madison. |
