BIOGRAPHY

Lisa Newman Paratore is best known for eclectic and inviting designs, reflecting her fashion and art background. Upon completion of each project, Lisa believes the space should be a reflection of her client's personal style, as well as a comfortable and functional space that is a pleasure for the homeowner.

Her extensive time abroad and fine art training give her a unique perspective on aesthetic plans. Over the past 15 years, she has consulted on projects from New York to the Outer Banks to London. Lisa teaches classes on interior decoration and has been a guest lecturer on such subjects as Balance in Design, Eclectic Interiors, and Establishing a Successful Interior Decoration Business. She has been invited to participate in seven designer show houses, including most recently one for "This Old House."

Lisa's work has been published several times in such well known publications as Better Homes & Gardens. Four of her showhouse projects are featured in the recently released book "Decorator Show Houses - Tour 250 Designer Rooms." A cum laude graduate of Connecticut College, Lisa lives on the shoreline of Rhode Island with her husband, Dave, and daughters, Gianna and Reina.
