Untouchable

You’re untouchable

Stern as gold

A blanket to my heart in this cold

You laugh when I cry

I only cry when you’re not laughing

You ask for the best of me

Just kiss the rest of me

In your arms I’m alive

Out of my loneliness

Sun-burnt in wholeness

I know I was a lot of things

Yours is all I want to be

I can’t get my head around

You’re untouchable
