Finished with linseed oil, shellac, and wax.



        Graduated drawers of different sizes for the varied pieces of silverware. The crossbanding has a boxwood stringing. The stringing was cut from a boxwood tree that grew in the client's yard.



    Black onyx marble. Cut from a coffee table top owned by the client.                       It was quarried from a single underwater source in Italy and is no longer available.

  Walnut cabinet made to hold video and audio equipment under wall mounted television. Designed with a centered pair of doors to conceal the equipment but to lay flat against cabinet when open.



   Doors opened.



  The cabinet top is made with a mortise and tenon framed border. We used matching panels held flush within the frame to complete the top. We saw our own thick veneer for a solid wood look. 




  A Stickley couch made with quarter sawn white oak. This is one of two identical pieces made for a longtime valued client. As sometimes happens, you finish a piece and then get asked to make a second.

  This table was made for the games of backgammon and chess .



  Magnets are used to lift the board out.  



  Shown with the chess side up. The opposite side of the chess board has a teakwood top for times when games aren't being played.

Post and rung design with a coopered seat.



Oil finish on the walnut seat and a soap flake finish on the white oak.

Dutch leaf style walnut dining table.30 inch by 61 inch top in closed position.





Opens to a length of 85 inches with extensions out. Can also create a 73 inch top with only a single extension out.





The wood from this table came from a single log. The top was made with shop sawn veneers from a single board.
