B2BINTERNETRADIO

Technology is revolutionizing our world. One of the major changes taking place recently is the transition from commercial radio to internet radio. Traditional commercial radio required a disc jockey personally picking a playlist of songs to play. On the contrary, internet radio is controlled by a computer. (for the most part) One of the positive aspects of commercial radio is that listeners could request songs. It’s a bit more of a personal relationship with the music, and knowing what you’re going to hear. Internet radio is exactly the opposite. Labels pay the web sites to play their music, whether it’s even good or not. While commercial radio had ratings from actual listeners, internet radio has a music scheduling software. Still, one of the downfalls of commercial radio are the constant breaks between music. Internet radio has consistent music streaming, whether you like the song or not. Another upside about internet radio is the amount of channels one can have. On some sites, a person can make their own channels, and the computer is smart enough to distinguish what type of music to play. Commercial radio is much more limiting. In this sense, internet radio is able to administer to all types of tastes. It gives the listener total control.
