Everyday illness, Osteoporosis and IBD.

Seminar organised by MACC

MACC will organise a seminar consisting of two talks at the Lecture Room 4, Block C, Level 1 (one floor above the Chapel) at Mater Dei Hospital, Msida on Friday, 4^th November, 2011 at 7.00pm.

The main speakers during the seminar will be Dr Pierre Ellul, Consultant Gastroenterologist, who will talk on the subject Everyday illness and IBD, and Dr Bernard Coleiro, Consultant Rheumatologist who will talk on the subject of Osteoporosis and IBD. Dr Ellul will treat, amongst others, the subjects of vaccinations in IBD, the need of a smear test for patients who are having immunosuppressants and the need for medical advice when one develops a severe chest infection. After the talks, those present will be invited to ask any other relevant questions about these important topics. Anyone who is interested in the subject may attend. The talks will be held in English however questions may be made both in Maltese and in English at the end of the talks.
