Summer Sewing Camp

Program:        
Summer camp is focused on sewing clothing that children can wear as well as creating craft and jewelry projects.  Introducing children to the Fashion Design Concept, including different sewing techniques, basic pattern manipulation, fashion illustrations, draping, design, quilting, making jewelry, meeting new friends, and having fun with sewing.

Projects:        
Designing clothing items based on skill level, including choices of PJ bottoms, skirts, tops, pants, Capri’s, sweatshirts, dresses, and much more.  Also a choices of creating your own unique quilted pillows, stuffed bear, and jewelry making and craft projects.

Age:          
Kids 6 to 12 and Teens.

Class Size:        
Up to 8 students for one week session.

Schedule:         One week long classes.
A – Mornings:         Monday thru Friday, 9:30am to 12:00 noon
B – Afternoons:         Monday thru Friday, 12:30pm to 3:00pm

Sessions:    

I  June  14-18               IV July 5-9         VII  July 26-30     

II June  21-25               V July 12-16       VIII Aug. 2-6

III June 28-July 2          VI July 19-23       IX Aug. 9-13

X  Aug.16-20

Tuition:        
$195/week per child for one morning (A) or afternoon (B) session.  Students are responsible for purchasing and pre-washing their own fabrics.

Deposits:        
$100 for reserving a space for a desired session.  The remainder is due 2 weeks before the 1st day of the class.

Full refunds are allowed up to 2 weeks before the 1st day of the class.
