We can now confirm that the New York City premiere for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II will take place on Monday July 11th, just 4 days after the London premiere on the 7th and 4 days before the film premieres in theatres (the 15th).  Time Warner Cable has announced a contest where fans can win tickets to the event. According to the press release:

Time Warner Cable digital customers can now enter the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows^TM – Part 2 Sweepstakes for a chance to win a trip to the premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 in New York City. Be the first of your friends to witness the final chapter in the Harry Potter Series!

One Grand Prize winner will receive a two-day, one night trip for two to New York City including airfare and hotel accommodations; as well as two tickets to the premiere screening of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 on July 15^th.

Customers can enter the sweepstakes now through June 19^th by completing and submitting the online registration form on the Time Warner Cable Facebook page. The Grand Prize Winner will be selected on June 20^th.
