Dr. Skye Duncan

Skye established Noosa Osteopathy in 2004, driven by her deep interest in health and chronic pain conditions.

Originally from Victoria, she made the move to the Sunshine Coast after earning her Bachelor of Science (Clinical Science) and Masters in Health Science (Osteopathy) from Victoria University in Melbourne.

During her Masters, Skye also served as a part-time lecturer in Anatomy, Physiology, and Pathophysiology and is a valued member of the CPD Health Courses team, where she imparts her knowledge and passion for Dry Needling.

After relocating to Queensland, Skye pursued several postgraduate programs in Cranial and Biodynamic Osteopathy, with a particular interest in treating paediatric and pregnancy cases.

Skye’s journey as an Osteopath has been diverse, from accompanying the Sunshine Beach Surf Lifesaving Club Masters team to Italy as the team Osteopath in 2004 to providing care for elephants at Australia Zoo. Embracing challenges, she skillfully incorporates techniques such as Dry Needling to achieve favorable outcomes for her patients.

Recently, Skye has found a new passion in functional fitness training at her local Crossfit box, allowing her to adeptly treat athletes from various disciplines.

Skye’s unwavering commitment lies in helping her patients fully comprehend the root cause of their conditions. She invests significant time and effort into formulating accurate diagnoses and personalised management plans as part of her comprehensive treatment approach.
