Lincoln Parish (French: Paroisse de Lincoln) is a parish located in the U.S. state of Louisiana. 2016 U.S. Census population: 47,745. The parish seat is Ruston.



History
The parish was established in 1873 from land that had belonged to Bienville Parish, Claiborne Parish, Jackson Parish and Union Parish. It is named for former U.S. president Abraham Lincoln.
