New Coupon Policy for Publix ( Brunswick, GA ) goes into effect 10/1/10

Reminder:

The NEW coupon policy for our Publix ( Brunswick, GA ) goes into effect starting tomorrow, 10/1/10.

When you go to Publix, be sure to pick up a copy of the new policy.

There are a few changes with the new policy:

All coupons must be in date (no expired coupons)

Coupons can ONLY be used for items specified

Coupons cannot be altered or appear to be “photo copied”

Publix will accept the following competitor coupons:

WalMart
Winn Dixie

Harris Teeter
Target
Harvey's
Family Dollar
Dollar General

Publix will no longer accept Rite-Aid, CVS, or Walgreens Coupons (of any kind)

You will only be allowed ONE $$ off total purchase competitor coupon per day, and this can be “stacked” with a Publix $$ off total purchase coupon. Only ONE Publix $$ off coupon can be used per day. The amount has to exceed combined value of coupons.

EX: Your order must exceed $50 if you are planning to use ONE $25 off total purchase Save-a-lot coupon with ONE $25 off total purchase Publix coupon.

"Overage" is allowed, AS LONG as the overage is not granted using a competitor coupon.

Publix will not accept competitor coupons that are priced specific or priced matched competitor ads.

Remember that you can stack up to three coupons for item:

Example: You can use ONE Target coupon, ONE Publix coupon, and ONE manufacture coupon on the same item.

You can use TWO coupons for BOGO, one set of coupon(s) per item, unless stated otherwise on coupon(s).

Total after coupons must exceed zero amount.

Publix’s reserves the right to refuse known or suspected coupons that appear fraudulent.

Publix’s reserves the right to limit quanities being purchased.

Please be considerate of your fellow shoppers and DO NOT remove "peelies" or “rebate" coupons from products, remove coupon pads from displays, or remove excessive coupon books or flyers.

Rain checks are valid for 30 days, and there is a limit of ten items on a rain check.

Entire quantity must be purchased at the same time, if available.

Rain check must be surrendered at time of purchase.

Rain checks must be specific as to variety. Publix will check quantity before issuing a rain check.

After many weeks of working with our local Publix and managers, Holly and I are pleased with what has transpired regarding the new coupon policy. We hope that our Savvy Shoppers will view the coupon policy as “black and white”, and not venture into “grey" areas.

We hope that each and every one will be courteous to our fellow cashiers, as they adjust to this new coupon policy. If you find yourself in a situation where you know that your coupon is valid, please speak with the manager. The cashiers are only doing their job, and with any “change ", it will take some time before all the “kinks “are smoothed out.

As a reminder, make sure that ALL your coupons are in order, ready to be handed over to the cashier. By following this procedure, it will make the “check out “process much quicker.

Holly and I are here for each and every one of you. Please ask any questions that you may have. We have worked hard to set this coupon policy in place, so that each and every one of us can maximize our savings using coupons legitimately.

Blessings,
Rebekah and Holly
