Some observations
1. GroupA services have a trifurcated pay structure.
2. Lower limit is around 2.7 times increased and upper limit 6 times
3. There will be no stagnation in pay as increment periods are very long.

i dint get it…which is the pay scale for IAS and IFS?

all the ones in yellow. and the last column shows how many years an IAS needs to spend in service to get those pays.

The maximum pay of central government employee cannot exceed the salary of first citizen of India namely president which is one lakh rupees per month.
How is it possible to have salaries more than one lakh for scales S13 to S18 of 6th pay?

mr rao that is why the lower limit is below of first citizen. it will take 20 years in increments of s-18 to cross first citizens salary.

The revised scale ie, S7 22000-2700-39000-1900-58000 Here the increment shown seems to be 1700 and not 2700. Am I correct? Also please inform when will the report be submitted to the Government? Any Idea?

oh god.. i was earning 14-years experienced guy’s sal, long ago itself. Hope the allowances and perks are good !

prabha the perks are not worth talking about, pays are the best it gets. All inclusive of allowances and minus taxes take home will be around 1/3 to 1/2 times in addition to these pays. it is easy to read them. e.g. 18400-500-22400 means every 6 months you get a hike of 500.

revised scales for 10000(s 19) & 12000(s23) is 30000 & 33000.Five years in 30000 plus 2400 increment means pay of 42000. But promotion after 5 years places u at 33000.How it will be explained?

I think there is no scale 6600-200-10500/- in GOI. Old S-12 scale should be Rs.6500-200-10500. Is in’t it! This scale is presently being shared by both Assistants as well as SOs of Central Secretariat Service. Do you have any idea whal would be revised scales for Assistants and SOs of CSS?

Sir, I think in s-05 in place of 3060 it should have 3050 and 24050 in place of 24500 in the S-32. What about the revision for S-33 and S-34 i.e, 26000 and 30000 fixed respectively. Please update the info. Thanks

for s-8 (new scale) what was the gross pay i.e after adding all the allowances and one more doubt i have joined in the year 2002 may in the old pay scale i.e 8000 and now i have got 5 increments and how these increments will be accounted to this new scale?

THE STARTING RANGE OF STENOGRAPHER IS 4000 – 6000 ( AS PER 5 CPC) BUT ROLE OF THE STENOGRAPHER IS VERY MUCH IN RAILWAYS & OTHER SECTOR OF CENTRAL GOVT. BUT THEY RECEIVED LESS PAY & GIVE THEIR BEST TO THEIR SIDE. IS THERE ANY THING BEST IN THE 6CPC, OR THEY WILL LOOSER, IS THEIR ANY DESIGNATION WILL CHANGED IN 6CPC?

We will get a quantum jump in our salaries. This is the best time to pump your arrear in share market. The prices of some of the scrips are at a rock bottom price.All the best

mr nagarajan and mr sharn pal singh the pay scales have been trifurcated so old number of increments don’t translate to new number of increments. will need to wait for more details.

mr. nagarajan thanks for the information. to my understanding point to point basis can be of two kinds. one is simple and one is proportional.
consider s29 old and s16 new for this example
in “simple p2p” s29 has 8 increments and s16 has total 20 increments. government officers on the highest end of s29 will suffer if they get 8 out of 20 increments in this method
otherwise if we suppose “proportional p2p” then 8 increments will correspond to proportional points on the 20 increments of s16. e.g. 4th increment of s16 will be as 10th increment in s16 new
so is it simple p2p or proportional p2p? if it is the former then it will be a loss for officers and if latter then will be best!
as details are not easily available we need to wait.

How authentic the pay scales as indicated above? What about DA, HRA, CCA etc.? When the recommendations of sixth pay commission will be submitted? What is your source? Please explain the mode of fixation of pay. Please inform the date of its effect. There is no scale of Rs. 2500-55-60-3200/- in existance. Is it a home made one scale? Please reply.

Is it possible to exceed the salary of President of India? What will be the pay scale of Rs.26000/(Fixed) & Rs.30000/-(Fixed), when the maximum salary of 1st Citizen of India is Rs. 1 lakh?

Time and again newspapers are reporting of scientists leaving, in greater numbers than bureaucrats. as far as scientists scale is concerned one would hope they get a fair deal along with UGC professors. however the details for higher allowances or additional scales are not yet available.
