CLIFF's NOTES: A total of (5), yes, FIVE Buick GN's were stolen from Bowling Green Kentucky over the last day or so from a Buick event gathering. The thieves stole complete tow setups, which included those 5 GN's. Word has it the convoy was headed from Bowling Green possibly NORTH towards Ohio/Michigan.

Here is the info from the YB thread w/ regards to the initial GN setup stolen (Billy T's):

Truck is a black 1997 F250 SuperCab, 8' bed (old body style)

Car is my 1987 Buick Grand National (8.50 car). rear tires are 315s

The car has Billet Specialties Comp 5 rims on it. There is an air scoop under the driver side blinker. Car number is 2953 with my name on the window "Billy T." in script. The current pics are at home on my laptop. I'm at the hotel posting this.

Truck tag: YJ524F -NJ
Car tag: ZW749F - NJ
Trailer tag: T40B2Y - NJ

These thieves HAVE to be stopping to REFUEL where ever they are driving to/from - so, get the word out to ANYONE you folks know - especially Police, EMS, long haul Truck Drivers, Garage/Storage Facility owners/operators, Toll operators, etc etc etc!!!

I think I read that something like this happened a number of years ago at an Oldsmobile 442 event where a half dozen '77-'79 examples were stolen from a single hotel parking lot and included whole tow rigs as well. Man, the world sure does suck these days.

Sad to hear, I had two Buick Grand Nationals over the years.
I hope they turn up, but it sounds like a well organized hit. Spread the word and hopefully they will be recovered.

Next to Mustangs, one of my all-time favorite cars (89 TTA too). Almost traded my modified 86 GT convertible straight up for a 18k mile stock 87 GN back in 93.
