ABSOLUT Fringe – BRAVE NEW WORLD

Like you probably already know by now, I’m currently interning with the Dublin Fringe Festival as the press assistant for this years ABSOLUT Fringe Festival. So, it would be rather *rude* not to present it here.

The festival is a manically, madly, eclectically filled melting pot, with a heap of performers, 40 odd venues and brilliantly curated performances from mainly new artists. Locations differ from abandoned car parks to the Gresham Hotel, and the artists are a multicultural melting pot from Ireland, Poland, Australia, Argentina and several other places.

One of the location highlights is the TOP of the Town, thé place to be this September, where the ABSOLUT Fringe festival club will take place. I would definitely recommend getting tickets for one of the club nights that will be held there during the festival, the line-up is great and so is the venue… It’s an old ballroom which Dublin has seemed to forget about, you know of those where one used to meet their better half sort of affair.

The full festival details can be found on fringefest.com, and tickets are available now.

For now, enjoy the trailer, music by FM Belfast (who are from, um, Iceland) who will perform during the festival… Enjoy, and hopefully see you around in September!

Ps: I *will* be tweeting quite a bit about this for next few months. You know where the unfollow button is if this doesn’t please you 🙂
