What Our Clients Say - Testimonials

David González - Partner and Attorney

Experience

David has successfully represented clients accused of serious felonies and misdemeanors at the trial level in state, federal and juvenile court.  He is qualified to be on the “A” list by the District Judges in Travis County to represent indigent clients against the most serious criminal allegations. In his appellate practice, he has appeared before the Court of Criminal Appeals, the 3rd and 10th Courts of Appeal, and written successful Petitions for Discretionary Review resulting in lower court decisions being overturned.  David is the firm’s visionary and he brings a commitment to systemic change to the firm. To that end, he lobbied for the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association during the 80th Legislative Session and will do so again in the upcoming 81st Legislative Session. He has also addressed the statewide conference of District and County Attorneys, assisted in training public defenders and municipal court prosecutors, and presented at a national conference regarding the changes to Texas’ sex offender laws.
