This photo was taken
approx 20 years ago and gives you a wonderful view of the
harbor and Old Port area. The beach in the extreme upper
right is "Playa Hermosa" and the only thing
there back then besides sand, was the "Playa Bonita
RV Park". Things are quite different today, as you
will see below. |

and as you can see, along with the RV Park, the hotel
"Playa Bonita" was constructed. |

This is what Playa
Hermosa looks like today. The amount of high rise resorts
and hotels being constructed here are so numerous, it's
difficult to keep up with them. They have several golf
courses under construction, a new harbor being dug and
many more resort communities still in the planning
stages. There is no other area in Mexico that is
"Booming" like Rocky Point. Seeing
is Believing! |
