How to Play
Tentacles is a free download from the iPhone App Store or Google Play. Simply download and launch the app. Use the touch-screen interface to control a creature linked to your mobile device and explore the animated world of Tentacles.
Tentacle
Each tentacle is a unique avatar linked to your mobile device via WiFi or the 3G/4G network. You control your tentacle using the touch screen interface on your device. To steer your tentacle in the projection, simply use your finger to point the tentacle on your device in the direction you would like it to swim.
Tentacle Tip
The tip of the tentacle is the part you control with the interface on your device. Use the tip to navigate, and the body of your tentacle will swim along behind.
Where Am I
Having trouble locating your tentacle? Simply tap the radar screen at the top of the interface and a circle will appear on screen indentifying your tentacle.
Tenticules
These tiny constellations feed the Tentacles universe. Each time your tentacle makes contact with a group of tenticules it grows larger. The more tenticules you eat, the bigger you get. When you quit the app, your tentacle explodes into tiny tenticules feeding the world you’ve left behind.
Urchins
You want to avoid these prickly creatures. When you bump into an urchin your tentacle shrinks.
Tentacle Toys
These gelatinous globules are there for you play with. They are sound sensitive and respond to the auditory reverberations that are part of the bioacoustics of the Tentacles environment.
