Sri & Raj’s Henna Party

Have you noticed how hot it’s been in Texas the last few weeks? Well, I’m glad to say I’ve been on a little break and enjoying the AC. Lucky for me, brides and grooms don’t like baking in the sun in formal wear any more than I do! Instead of shooting I’ve been working on editing some South Asian Weddings and events I shot for SB Image Studios earlier this year down in Houston, TX. I’ve finished a few of them so I’m going to share them with you!

The first one I have to show is the lovely Sri and her handsome groom Raj’s henna party that took place the night before their wedding. They chose the River Oaks Garden Club in downtown Houston for this event and MAN – is it a gorgeous venue! They had a henna artist come in to do the henna for Sri’s wedding party and any other guests who wanted to have it done. They played some fun games then had a delish dinner complete with freshly made flatbread. Really – it was amazing!
