UK Power Construction employs 80 personnel with a wide range of skills to carry out all types of work within the electricity supply industry. They undertake the construction, replacement, refurbishment and maintenance of all electrical overhead lines from low voltage 132,000 volts, cable laying and jointing up to 11,000 volts, surveying, and tree clearance, including the design and management of projects. The overhead line staff also undertake both short-stick and long-stick 'live line' operations on the 11kv distribution system. UK Power Construction are also available for all emergency repairs and supply restorations at any time, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
