"The Golf GPS Navigator" is an iPhone App that uses the built-in GPS technology and Google Maps to map golf course holes and distances. The iPhone acts as your own range finder/GPS distance device. Distances are mapped to the middle/front/back of greens, bunkers, water hazards, etc. Distance circles also offer an excellent overview of the hole. Furthermore, the wind direction and speed is shown in relation to the hole layout helping you select the correct club.

How much does "The Golf GPS Navigator" cost?

"The Golf GPS Navigator" is free but after the sixth hole has limited features. The upgrade is only $9.99. No subscription or yearly fee. One time fee per device. With absolutely no obligations, try it before you decide to upgrade.

I've purchased the upgrade but the app didn't prompt me to download.

There is no download after you purchase. Simply restart the app and you will then be upgraded to the paid version.

How many courses are already mapped?

We have over 25,000 courses already mapped and ready for play.

Can I view any course?

Sure. View each hole as the golf pros play them on TV. All our courses can be viewed easy from any part of the world. You don't have to be near the course to view it.

What if my course is not listed?

Please take a photo (with your iPhone) of the scorecard (front and back) and send to support@upsidetechnologies.com. Upon receiving your request, we will queue your course ready to be mapped. This process typically takes 1-2 business days.

What if I see a problem with a hole's mappings?

From the iPhone, at the bottom of every hole map, is a button that links you to a form asking you to explain the issues. Again, upon receiving your feedback, we will queue your request ready to be reviewed. The reviewal process will typically be resolved in 1-2 business days.

How accurate is the GPS?

What if course maps are not up-to-date?

We exclusively use Google maps and we are not sure or can guarantee of when their data will be updated.

Does the app support meters?

Yes. From the settings menu, you can either select yards or meters.
