Day 2 – A Word From our Pastor’s Wife

“HAVING FAITH UNDER TOUGH CIRCUMSTANCES”

Matthew 14:29-31

“Come He said, Then Peter got down out of the boat walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, Lord, Save Me!’

Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him.”

It’s remarkable to see what great faith Peter portrayed, to walk on water, knowing that everyone else stood behind terrified in the boat.

This passage reminds that, “Having Faith under Tough Circumstances”, God will see us through as long as we keep our eyes focused on Him. Have you ever doubted Christ before or felt that when times got tough you just wanted to throw in the towel?

As women of God we need to be like Peter ,and take that stand of faith, no matter who’s with you or not!

Today we embark on our 2nd day of this fast. We are taking big steps of faith in this fast. Let’s stay strong to our commitment to the Daniel fast and support one another to keep pressing in, even when we’re down to the last wires.

Here’s a scripture I encourage all of you to read and meditate on throughout your day today.

Romans 3:1-31

My prayer today is that our faith lies in the hands of God, and not of this world. Let’s take our STAND and CHOOSE to GROW and LEARN in every challenge that we face.

Let’s GROW together as women expanding our Faith for our Future.

With Love,

Briana Condon & Nikki Sealey

I love it! I have been so busy with life, that I sometimes felt far from God, but with this 21 day fast I can stop, pray, think on what is really important. I believe I will grow during this time of separation. Love you all!

“Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him.”
What I love most about this fast is the fact that we are coming together and believing for the needs of every man and woman in this church; we’re a united front which is exactly how we should be as a church. This fast to me is a direct example of christianity, Jesus reached out to catch His disciple; we are reaching out through prayer and fasting to reach those who are lost and those who have fallen away in the house. I think the selfless foundation of this fast is what will bring so many breakthroughs! I love my church!

  6. Kelly says:

I’m so blessed to be a part of a church that has their vision clear and concise. I am so greatful for this fast, like Jesus, reaching out to save his disciple from sinking; this fast is going to be a cornerstone in the birthing of breakthroughs and miracles simply because we are partaking in the kind of fasting that pleases God! We are crucifying the flesh and surrendering to the Lord in our discipline and prayer lives all to meet the needs of others; to see miracles and breakthroughs. I heart Victory Outreach!
