The GVBA (Greenwich Village Block Association) is an umbrella organization which speaks for most (if not all) of the Block Associations across Greenwich Village.
At tonight's monthly GVBA meeting our proposal to require "Noise Code Compliance" testing throughout NYC for all newly installed exterior equipment within 100 feet of a dwelling was presented.
A vote was taken and the GVBA voted unanimously to endorse the proposal. This a great first step in getting important procedural change put into place.
Next stop full Community Board 2 Environment Committee and Full CB2 Board.
