I have been spending a bit of time looking at some cars I would love to build. The past couple of weeks I have been looking at the E38 BMW. I am on a sedan kick lately because I feel that my current situation suits street built cars over something that involves racing. am a family man so most coupes are out and roadsters are out of the question. I originally wanted to go after something AWD due to my experience with snowmegeddon in maryland earlier this year when i could not get to my son. i felt that was the most unacceptable thing for me as a parent that i could not get to my kid because i needed to stay at work because they were not letting me go and i needed the dough. It took me 8 hours to go 20 miles. If given the opportunity i would definitely take a AWD car over the E38 but for the purpose of this post i will stick to the bimmer for now and maybe ill get back to the AWD options.

this is a wild example of a stanced and motor’d 7series. I have spent a ton of time looking at this page HERE. My mind immediately went to stance and performance but mainly i went looking for info to see what is out there for power numbers. It seemed that the popular upgrade was a supercharger setup which while producing solid numbers it didnt excite me as much as the stock numbers for the M5. Next thoughts went to engine swaps and while im debating engine swaps to something easier and more powerful as being a little bit of a cop out, rocking a 2jz or a LS powerplant up front might make for a more exciting car, bmw purists be damned. I’ll try to come back soon with more of what i have been looking at. I’m thinking that I may just choose a car and research that for a month and come back with what I have found.
